I have now been working with Josie for a couple of years creating films for here website and social media.

The first film we made was to launch the 2020 Exhibition during COVID. It was a super fast turn around filmed one day and edited the next to hit the deadline for the gallery opening. From this one film we also made numerous social media shorts for Instagram & IGTV.

Josie was reluctant to be filmed at the start but she loved the end product and I am now working with her on other short films about her gallery and artists.

Recently I have been working with Todhunter Earle Interiors to make a film to go with the launch of their new book - Modern English. For use on their website, social media and YouTube. This led to another film about they company and their work.

I have been commissioned by OWL Lighting to create a series of films for their website and social media platforms. Lighting is a hard thing to describe with the written word. By creating short films we hope to express the importance of lighting design and how OWL can transform a house to potential clients.

Over the past year I have had a fantastic time filming cookery. The fabulous Flora of “Flora’s Kitchen” has expanded her Residential Cookery business by adding a series of online courses. Between the 2 of us, 3 cameras and a hot kitchen we have created and filmed over 50 recipes for her website - it’s been great fun.

Easter 2021 saw us team up with The Global Artichoke in creating a Easter Feast Masterclass video in to raise money for the Charlie Waller Trust, championing mental health in young people.

I worked for two years on this amazing project. Ethel and Ernest is a story written by Raymond Briggs which Lupus Films turned into a feature film for BBC and Universal. Over the course of the project I followed the making of the feature film creating a half hour documentary to go on the DVD and three short films for Universal for their press kit.

The first film was about the creation of The Music. The main sound track was composed by Carl Davis and I recorded him writing and conducting his music. I filmed the Chamber Orchestra of London and a jazz band in the recording studio. The Orchestra played the music Paul McCartney wrote for the end theme music - "In the Blink of an Eye".

The second film was about The Cast, a stellar crew including Jim Broadbent, Brenda Blethyn, June Brown, Luke Treadaway and Virginia McKenna. I interviewed them as well as filmed their voice recordings for their various parts in the film.

The third film was about The Animation and the animators who actually created the film. It was amazing to see the whole process through.

I also gained my first feature film credit as Live Action Producer. I produced the opening sequence of the film introducing Raymond Briggs the author of the story alongside the fantastic Director Roger Mainwood and Director of Photography Fraser Taggart.

In addition I created 19 short films for the educational website that was set up for Ethel and Ernest. We couldn’t use any of the music from the film for these so it was an interesting project to do filling the spaces with sound effects. It was fantastic to work with Neil Mulholland Racing and Bet UK to film a Behind the Scenes of a commercial they were making at the beautiful Conkwell Lodge Stables.

I also created a series of films extra films for social media content interviewing Neil Mulholland (Trainer), Vogue Williams and David Crosse (Jockey).

This summer I filmed these two music videos for Jareth, performing at MoonShot music studios. The tracks were released in July and August 2018. These videos were posted on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter along with a selection of social media shorts about her music and thoughts.

An 8 minute Behind the Scenes film to show behind the scenes at Lupus Films as they create The Snowman and The Snowdog animation.

The Art of the Snowman and the Snowdog - 3 x 90 second featurettes shown on C4 in the ad breaks. A brief glimpse into the day of the animator bringing each of the characters to life. I worked on these films from proposal stage to the end. We re-created a studio in a derelict building and with a crew of four filmed the animators at work. I edited these films myself before taking them to online and dub.

We're Going on a Bear Hunt was a wonderful project to work on.

I made three 90 second films called "Painting the Bear Hunt - Snow / Grass / Cave" for Channel Four.  These were mini insights into how the scenes was painted in the film and used as trailers in the ad breaks before the actual film that was shown at Christmas 2016.  I worked with a great crew building a set to recreate the animation studio and filming with the wonderful director of photography Ashley Palin.

and created the press release kit for Universal involving three short films "Behind the Scenes" films about "The Cast" , "The Story and The Animation" and "The Music".  The cast were such fun to work with.  I had a very amusing day interview Michael Rosen, Mark Williams and Pam Ferris as well as some of the children who were the voices behind the film.  I was lucky enough to film the music being recorded at Abbey Road Studios, interview George Ezra who wrote the end theme tune and record Stuart Hancock working on the sound track.

This summer I made this short promotional film for Vaporetto Mobile Pizzeria to advertise their ability to cater for private parties. We wanted to show the different elements of an evening’s visit from the creation of delicious Neapolitan pizzas, to the attractive van at a party and then to show that when the eating is done the van is turned into a DJ booth.

This film was shown at the Cartoon Festival to pitch for funding for a proposed film “Molesworth”. It was fascinating to talk to this incredible artist and see his work.

A short film to show how The Collage Company can turn your photos into something special.

I spent a couple of days with the animation team at Lupus Films filming them at work creating the Barbour Christmas Film for 2017.  I interviewed Robin Shaw about introducing the new characters - a mother and daughter - to the Snowman and Snowdog family and the making of this new chapter in the story.  It was wonderful to watch him bring the Snowman and Billy back to life on the page through the camera lens.

I had a only a few hours with Daniela and David to film them reminiscing about the book they had written 35 years ago called "Understanding Jewellery" and introducing their new App of the same title.  The app is amazing index of images and information about jewellery.
